Navedo began her career as an actor in soaps that aired on daytime television. She was on the show as Linda Soto, the ABC soap One Life to Live from 1995 to 1998. The actress joined the CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. In 1996 she had only a small role in Girl 6 and then went on to appear in New York Undercover. Navedo played with Double Take in 2001 and Washington Heights the next year. Navedo played the role of Detective Ana Cordova in the NBC program Law & Order from 2001 to 2004. He starred later in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages as well as Blue Bloods and Blue Bloods. Navedo has also appeared in movies like El Cantante, Remember Me as well as a variety of other films. Navedo is also one of the regular characters for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011-2013) as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy. Superfast! is a film in which Navedo starred. The mockumentary of The Fast and the Furious film series released in 2015. Navedo's professional journey started with soaps for daytime. She was in Linda Soto, the ABC soap drama One Life to Live from 1995 to 1997. In 1999 she joined the crew of the CBS soap opera Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. Her film debut came through a tiny role on Girl 6 (1996) and later guest-starred in the episodes New York Undercover and The District. In 2001, Navedo was a co-star in the action film Double Take.
